Deep in the Tianshan Mountains, the construction of Xinjiang's key transportation project, the G218 Narati to Barentai Expressway, is progressing vigorously. The Naba Highway links the towns of Narathi and Barentai, with a total length of 217.6 kilometers. The NBTZ-8 section of Naba Expressway, constructed by Shanxi Road and Bridge Construction Group, has a total length of over 30 km and comprises several bridges. Among them, 40 meters of prefabricated T-beams constitute an important part of this section. These T-beams will be erected on HDR(I) high-damping isolation bearings produced by OVM. When an earthquake occurs, the high damping isolation bearing absorbs and dissipates seismic energy through its own deformation, thereby reducing the seismic force transmitted to the superstructure and enhancing the overall seismic performance of the bridge.
