The Cable Force Adjustment Work of Liujing Yujiang Grand Bridge 

Has Been Completed Successfully

 

Recently, the cable force adjustment work of Liujing Yujiang Grand Bridge on the Nanning-Yulin section of the Nanning-Shenzhen high-speed railway in Guangxi, China, which was participated in the construction by OVM, has been successfully completed.

 

The main bridge of the Liujing Yujiang Grand Bridge is the steel box-concrete extradosed bridge with the largest span among the ballastless track high-speed railways with a speed of 350km/h that were approved and under construction in the same period in China. The bridge has a total length of 621.5 meters, with a main span of 320 meters. A total of 26 pairs of multi-strand cables with 52-strand are arranged.

 

OVM has provided the extradosed cable-stayed system products of anti-sliding device technology for this bridge, with specifications of AT-43, AT-61, AT-73, and AT-109, including the full set of cable products and installation services.

  

After the project is completed and opened to traffic, the travel time from Nanning to Yulin will be shortened to about 50 minutes.
